Poker Run Benifit

July 21, 2007

Hello
I just want to thank you all for your love and support. I pray that God will bless you and keep you, leading you closer to him, displaying his will in your lives, drawing us all closer to him as he leads us eternally.

The benefit for our family on July 21 was awesome. So many people turned out to show love and support, we were overwhelmed and we would like to express how much we appreciate all of the time and effort so many of you put in before, during and after the event. Alma and I would also like to thank everybody who donated for the silent auction as well as everyone who donated of their time on our behalf. But I'm not exactly sure how to go about doing that. We will just rest assured that God works all things for the good of those who love him. In all situations. I believe that God blessed the event and everyone that participated. Also we would like to thank The friends of Mike white and Napa police Officer Association for the love and support that was shown for us. Thank you.

Just after the fundraiser, on Tuesday of last week we had a family come to visit and stay with us from Florida. This is a man who also has ALS, in which I met in the "patients like me" website. He has recently come to know the Lord, and the Lord led him to his new wife Glenda, between them they have three children that were also with them as they stayed with us for a week.
We know that God used us this week in their lives as we opened our home to them.

While they were here we took them to the Giants game, Marine world, the drag races and to our church. "Ken" was able to be here for Bible study on Monday night, we are studying "knowing God", he enjoyed our Bible study and the Fellowship that we shared, I look forward to sending him the book and the study guide as he wanted to read it and study it as we discuss it through e-mail.

Thank you for all the e-mails this past week. We will be reading and getting caught up as time allows. God bless you all and we love you.

Walking by faith,
Michael White
